The reason why and the rest of their story you can find out by Stephanie herself:
"Kai and I met in our home town of Albany Western Australia in 2003. It's only a small place so when Kai spotted me shopping with a girlfriend on the main street it wasn't too hard for him to find out who I was and ask me out. We have been together ever since...
Kai proposed at the airport in October 2013 when he picked me up after returning from a conference in the Netherlands. He completely caught me off guard and we both love travelling so the airport has an extra special place in our hearts now.
Our first piece of artwork we bought when we moved in together was a framed photograph of the Caldera. We always knew it was somewhere we would visit and when we got engaged we had the great idea of getting married there.
We really enjoyed every moment of our wedding, the ceremony stands out because it was so surreal but also just having all our close friends and family at one table for the reception and seeing everyone enjoying themselves was amazing.
I think our style was somewhat minimalistic but with a bit of a rustic/boho influence.
My Gown was actually by a Greek born designer 'Demetrios'. I wanted something that would complement the location, be floaty and not too heavy in case it was warm.
I would advice a bride to be to enjoy every minute and try not to sweat to small stuff. I gave up all control and just went with it, which allowed me to enjoy all moments of the wedding.
Joanna, from Studio Phosart, was absolutely amazing, she made everyone feel completely at ease and you can see the passion she gets out of her work. The photos that she produced were breathtaking and we will enjoy them forever. I would definitely not hesitate in recommending Studio Phosart to anyone looking for a photographer."
